It is not by chance that we were chosen by important communities in Israel to execute special and complex orders, such as the covers for the table of Maran Rav Ovadia Yosef, of blessed memory. The parochet (Torah ark curtain) in the Lederman Synagogue in Bnei Brak, where Rav Chaim Kanievsky of blessed memory, prayed. The cover for the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, the Rashbi, in Meron. The cover for the tomb of our matriarch, Rachel, at Kever Rachel. The parochet in the famous Ponevezh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak. The parochot in the Yehaveh Da’at Synagogue in Jerusalem, and many more.
The Work Process
1
After receiving the customer’s order, our service manager arranges a meeting with the orders manager. They work together to choose the type and character of the parochet suitable for the customer’s requirements and the character of the place and community. They also take into account the design of the aron hakodesh (Torah ark) and synagogue.
2
The order is now passed on to the designer, who will present the customer with a range of ideas and designs from which to make their choice. This stage is tailormade for the customer’s requirements.
After choosing the desired model, and its preparation by the designer, it is transferred to the digitization department. Here it is prepared and adapted for the embroidery process.
3
During the next stage, the chosen velvet curtain in the selected color will be stretched out. The computerized embroidery machine will create the artistic work. If Swarovski crystals or other elements have been included in the parochet, they will now be added, using a delicate technique.
4
After the embroidery, the parochet will be transferred to the sewing department, for sewing the finishing touches, the lining, and adding the bells.
5
After the work, the parochet is brought for quality control inspection and the final touches. Finally it is packaged to be delivered to the customer, or for shipping abroad.
6
* We also offer a repair service for parochot throughout Israel, including a matching rod for easy opening of the curtain when the ark is opened.
* For coverings for the Torah ark and the Bimah, we also offer a sewn nylon cover to avoid dirt and damage to the velvet.
